The Application Evaluation Process

Firms who wish to form a partnership with KOBI Venture Capital Investment Trust Inc. may submit their applications via our “Application Form Entry” section and officially relay their request. The submitted project will be evaluated under our investment criteria and strategies.

  1. Firms who’s projects are deemed successful at our pre-assessment stage are requested to fill out our Business Plan File.
  2. KOBI Venture Capital Investment Trust Inc. analyses the business plan and conducts a thorough inspection of the project. The Project, with its details submitted in the business plan, is later discussed at the Investment committee meeting.
  3. If the Investment Committee decides to further proceed with the project, a Letter of Intent is presented to the entrepreneur, stating the terms and clauses of the possible partnership.
  4. After the entrepreneur approves the terms and conditions of the Letter of Intent, a due diligence and financial control is undertaken by our firm.
  5. After negotiations with the entrepreneur the evaluation of the project is concluded and an evalaution report is prepared.
  6. KOBI Venture Capital Investment Trust Inc. decides whether or not to invest in the project depending on the evaluation report conclusions. If an investment decision has been taken, a proposal is prepared and presented to the entrepreneur including the terms and conditions of the partnership, i.e. percentage of shares to be obtained, share price and other financial circumstances.
  7. Partnership negotiations come to a final stage after the eventual decision of the Board of Directors.
The evaluation process stages stated above are completed within a 3-4 month period, depending on the entrepreneur’s promptness and interaction with KOBI Venture Capital Investment Trust Inc.
