KOBI Venture Capital Investment Trust Inc. was founded in 1999 in Ankara by The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), Halk Bank, The Small and Medium Industry Development Organization (KOSGEB), The Turkish Confederation of Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK) and 16 Chambers of Industry and Trade. for meeting the financial demands and necessities of SMEs in Türkiye.
The company became fully operational in the venture capital domain in 2004 after acquiring it’s “Portfolio Management Certificate” from the Capital Markets Board.
Through means of capital and management support, KOBI Venture Capital Investment Trust Inc. aims to help innovative SMEs which are finding it hard to access sources of finance to realize their respective production or services projects with a competitive advantage by contributing to the Turkish economy.
